
AJFC’s Goalkeeper Skills Training program is focused on providing a skills development opportunity for those AJFC junior and youth players who regularly act as a goalkeeper for their teams and who are motivated to improve their goalkeeper play in this position. Training sessions through the season will cover all aspects of goalkeeping including positioning, movement, diving, ball distribution, passing and striking the ball.
Training sessions will be 75 minutes duration with appropriate warm-up and warm-down activity. Sessions size will also be capped to 12 participants to ensure the effectiveness of the training. The Club may elect to offer an additional session times should participant demand exceed the session size limit.

- Program breaks for School Holiday weeks (9 and 16 July)
- Open to AJFC members only
- Player Ages: 8 to 16 years
- Session Duration: 60 minutes (75 minutes if >5 participants register)
- Sessions led by AJFC goalkeeper training partner Chris Marques (GKU Academy)
- Venue: Campbell Park Field 2 (SOUTHWEST QUARTER)
