Abbotsford Juniors Football Club (AJFC) members. Campbell Park and Lysaght Park are open for training WITH RESTRICTIONS this afternoon and evening. The Club is asking all teams to observe the following to ensure fields are playable on the weekend:
1. All team training activities are to avoid the use of goal mouth areas (the 6 yard box) and to train where possible outside the full goal-box area;
2. There is to be no use of the fixed goals on Lysaght Park and Campbell Park Field 3;
3. There is to be no use of Large wheeled goals by teams for training (AJFC goalkeeper training is the exception and will proceed as planned);
4. Teams should check their training area and move to drier areas and avoid repetitive drills and training exercises on damp areas of the field (specifically on Campbell Park Field 1 and Lysaght Park).
With these restrictions observed, the Club is hopeful of completing all of its scheduled games this weekend at the fields. ❤⚽

Abbotsford Juniors Football Club (AJFC) is proud to announce a new Foundation of Football Coaching Course taking place in August across three nights, hosted at three local clubs including AJFC!
Led by local FNSW Coach Educator, Radim, this course is a brand-new education initiative accredited by Football Australia and is ideal for interested coaches, managers and parents working with players from Under 8 to Under 19 across skill and ability levels. The course will equip you with practical knowledge and tools to develop your coaching skills and support your player’s growth. ⚽
Run across three Friday nights, the Foundation of Football Coaching Course is proudly co-hosted by Abbotsford Juniors Football Club (AJFC), Balmain & District Football Club, and Leichhardt Saints Football Club.
Course Details:
Dates: 3 x Fridays – August 1st, 8th, and 15th, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM each night
Locations:
• August 1st: Campbell Park, Chiswick
• August 8th: Waterfront Drive Sporting Ground, Lilyfield
• August 15th: Sydney Secondary College, Leichhardt
Cost: $100 Registration
