AJFC Injury Report

Dealing with and Reporting an Injury

Injuries are a fact of life in football. Whether in games or training, players are often injured and sometimes it is not known if it is serious until well after the event. Whatever the injury, it is important that a team official (coach or team manager) report the injury through the Club’s online form as soon as possible.

  3. Contact/call for St John’s / Ambulance (000) where necessary
  4. Treat injury, following all directions provided by any medical personnel present

  7. Where needed, the injured player/member may choose to complete and submit an online insurance claim. This must be completed within 60 days of date of injury via the Football NSW’s Insurance Provider – Gow Gates website. Details on insurance cover and how to submit a claim can be found at https://www.gowgates.com.au/sport-programs/football-nsw
