The 2025 Annual General Meeting of Abbotsford Juniors Football Club was held on Monday 22nd December with elections held for the Club’s Executive Committee for the upcoming 2026 Winter and Summer Football seasons. 

The meeting marked the end of John Encina’s outstanding service to AJFC as an executive committee member.  John held the key roles of Club Secretary (4 years) and Competition Secretary (3 years) playing a key role in the establishment of AJFC’s current Football Academy development programs and was a constant champion for the development of female football programs at the Club.

Abbotsford Juniors Football Club would like to express its heartfelt thanks on behalf of the entire AJFC community to John for his significant contribution to the Club and its members over the last decade both as a committee member and also as a player and coach of a number of AJFC teams. We wish John well in his future endeavours and hope to see him down at Campbell Park from time to time.
